Introducing “Mission 90” – A Call to Action for Gospel Assembly Church
Dear Gospel Assembly Church Family,
We are excited to introduce “Mission 90,” an inspiring initiative designed to unite our church body in a collective effort to win the lost and transform our community through the power of evangelism and prayer. As members of Gospel Assembly Church, we are called to shine the light of Christ in our world, and “Mission 90” is our opportunity to do so with renewed vigor and unity.
The Vision Behind Mission 90
“Mission 90” is rooted in the directive from Luke 5:4 where Jesus instructs His disciples to “launch out into the deep.” This scripture symbolizes our commitment to venture beyond our comfort zones, to reach out and touch lives with the gospel. Our mission is clear: to spend a minimum of 90 minutes each week, as a united body, focusing on evangelism and prayer. This time will be dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and interceding for our community and region.
Our Commitment
Our church mission statement guides us in this endeavor:
“To glorify God by passionately sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, to as many people as possible, developing dedicated disciples who become mature and fruitful leaders, empowered to lead, impact and spread His message to the region.”
“Mission 90” embodies this mission by:
- Passionately Sharing the Gospel: Each member will actively participate in evangelism, sharing the message of salvation with those who have yet to hear it. This can be through personal interactions, community outreach, or creative forms of ministry.
- Developing Dedicated Disciples: By coming together for this cause, we encourage and strengthen one another in our faith journeys. This communal effort fosters spiritual growth and accountability, ensuring that we are not only reaching out but also building up.
- Empowering Leaders: Our commitment to prayer and evangelism is a profound act of love towards our neighbors. By praying for our community and sharing the gospel, we demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways. This process helps develop mature, fruitful leaders who can impact and spread His message throughout the region.
What We Ask of You
To make “Mission 90” a reality, we need every member of Gospel Assembly Church to make a personal commitment:
- Dedicate a Minimum of 90 Minutes Weekly: Set aside at least 90 minutes each week to join with other members in evangelism and prayer. This could be through organized church activities or personal outreach efforts.
- Invest in Evangelism: Be willing to invest time, energy, and resources into reaching the lost. This might include participating in church-organized events, supporting evangelistic programs, or simply being intentional in your daily interactions.
- Pray for the Community: Regularly pray for the needs of our community and region. Intercede for those who are lost, for opportunities to share the gospel, and for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully through our efforts.

We believe that through “Mission 90,” we can see a significant impact in our community and beyond. It is our prayer that every member of Gospel Assembly Church will embrace this call to action, launching out into the deep with faith and determination. Together, we can win the lost at any cost, bringing glory to God and advancing His kingdom on earth.
